The reaction to part one of this post took me completely by surprise so I thought, as there are SO many wonderful quiet luxury brands, I’d write a follow-up post. I know a lot of these brands are expensive because, well, the clue is in the title, it IS luxury. BUT there are also a lot of more affordable brands that are starting to jump on this classically timeless aesthetic so I will do a separate high street edition if that’s of interest.
In the meantime, here are a few more brands to sink your teeth into….
ALIGNE
You may have seen this brand pop up more and more on social media lately and it’s because the fashion set have cottoned on to their chic and minimal silhouettes. As a women-led business, you can tell that there’s a real understanding of fit and finer details. Flattering necklines, cinching in the right places and materials to last.
LORO PIANA
As one of the OG old money brands, Loro Piana are having somewhat of a renaissance of late. As an Italian-born company, the fabrics are as luxurious as you’d expect and their pieces are designed to last a lifetime. Think soft leather riding boots, cashmere jumpers and, of course, their renowned embossed logo loafers.
LEMAIRE
From Italy to Paris, Lemaire offer an edgier take on tradition with military-inspired accents and urban detailing. Although more classic pieces such as trench coats and tailored trousers remain staples, they’re peppered with over-the-knee boots, leather culottes and satchel shoulder bags.
PARISA WANG
I’m just going to say it — if you love the look of a Hermes handbag but don’t want to re-mortgage your house to buy one, Parisa Wang is a great alternative. Boxy, structured and formal, they offer a beautiful selection of handbags in the most stunning colourways. Featuring that recognisable buckle front detail, they’re ladylike without being stuffy.

VERONICA BEARD
This brand is a GEM for finding beautiful classic pieces. Suede tote bags, fitted blazers and white wool coats are just some of the pieces you can expect to find in the current collection. I have my eye on the Lisa booties!

BITE STUDIOS
If you want to level up your look but don’t know where to start - start with Bite Studios. Achingly cool, they combine forever pieces such as beautifully cut black coats with more abstract designs such as sheer skirts and shirts with frilly capes. I especially love how their styling makes you think by offering tunics over trousers as a set.
JIL SANDER
Admittedly, I’m just not ‘cool girl’ enough to get away with some Jil Sander pieces but their collections undeniably take an outfit to the next level. Subtly sexy with a point of interest in each design, you can expect to collect a lot of compliments when wearing a Jil Sander piece.
